School Graduation β 2020
Graduated from Kharkiv Lyceum "Obdarovanist" in 2020 β
one of the strongest and most prestigious science-focused
lyceums in Ukraine. The academic environment there was highly
intensive, with a strong emphasis on mathematics, physics, and
computer science.
It wasnβt just a school β it was more like a second home. We
lived on campus during the week, diving deep into studies,
solving complex problems, and training our minds like athletes.
Only on weekends would we return home to recharge.
Thanks to this rigorous training and the mentorship of
incredible teachers, we were shaped into real problem solvers.
This foundation allowed me to easily pass the Ukrainian
university entrance exams and β after self-studying Czech β
approach the Czech university entrance exams as if they were
simple exercises for kids.
Studying at KHAI (2020β2021)
Enrolled at Kharkiv Aviation Institute (KHAI) to study software
engineering. Even though I knew I'd be studying abroad in the
future, I didnβt want to waste time β so I took the opportunity
to deepen my skills while also preparing for a new life in the
Czech Republic.
During this year, I studied Czech, passed entrance exams, and
began preparing to relocate. It was also at KHAI that I first
encountered C# and .NET, built my first desktop apps, and
started diving into algorithms and structured programming.
This year also gave me my first true taste of independent
student life β managing my time, tackling new challenges, and
dealing with the various responsibilities that come with being a
student. The experience solidified my resolve to become a part
of the IT world and pursue a career in software development. It
was a year that not only sharpened my technical skills but also
helped me grow as a person.
Brno University of Technology (VUT FIT) β 2021β2025
In 2021, I began studying at VUT FIT (Faculty of
Information Technology, Brno University of
Technology), one of the top technical universities in
the Czech Republic. Over these four years, I studied core areas
like low-level programming, C/C++, C#, Python, PHP, JavaScript,
Assembly, data structures & algorithms, databases, networks, web
development, and more. It was an intense journey, covering
around 50 subjects in 4 years, giving me exposure to a wide
range of technologies and methodologies.
After that, I became a multi-tool. I can program a toaster,
write a website, set up CI/CD, distribute tasks in Jira, set up
production in Azure, write a compiler in C for the language I
created in my free time (which I also use to program the
toaster). All of this happens with deadlines of 12 hours and a
team of three first-year students who think Git and GitHub are
the same thing.
The program was challenging, with rigorous exams and complex
projects. It pushed me to grow from a beginner into a skilled
software developer, equipping me with both theoretical
knowledge and practical experience.
